Okay Fort Worth, this is ridiculous. We knew this storm was coming, and yet three days later, most roads remain without salt or sand. Ambulances can’t get babies from hospital A to hospital B for surgery. Doctors have to walk dangerously icy sidewalks for miles to get to work. Roads are littered with the cars of people who were required to come to work but got stranded or wrecked. And perhaps the unkindest cut of all: I can’t buy my overpriced coffee. This may finally be the thing which motivates me to attend my first ever city council meeting, and which galvanizes my resolve to be the colossal pain in the ass I have heretofore only dreamed of being.
