In our house over the years, in some ridiculous evolution of baby talk, the phrase “chop chop” to hurry someone along morphed into “chip chop”, then “chip chop, bip bop” and then “chippity choppity bippity boppity”. My son was dragging his feet about walking the dog this morning and I just found myself saying “Hey! What about ‘chippity choppity, bippity boppity’ did you not understand?!”
Am now checking myself into a mental ward.
