I can understand how it could be a bummer to return from the airport to find the house a mess, none of the weekend homework done, the lunches not packed, the trash overflowing, and the messy remains of fast food all over the inside of your car. But, in the plus column, I did resist the urge to give both of the boys one of my do-it-yourself haircuts.
